Rice Baseball Camp is hosted by Rice University baseball coaches, players, alumni, and local veteran high school coaches. It gives kids a chance to hone in on their skills. In addition to practicing hitting, pitching, catching, and base running technique players will have an opportunity to participate in skill competition and live gameplay. Low coach to camper ratios insures that each child receives individual instruction. Ages: 7-13
Rice Baseball Camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
The camps are located in beautiful Houston, TX at the iconic Reckling Park on the campus of Rice University. They are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level for all age ranges.
Each camp session runs from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Thursday, with multiple sessions held in June and July. Camps will run rain or shine, utilizing the indoor play facilities if needed. Campers should bring their own baseball cap, gloves, bat, and athletic shoes, but each camper will receive a camp t-shirt.
